If you are looking for a spider drawing tutorial, then you are in right place.
Spiders are arthropods, like insects – they have an exoskeleton that is on the outside of their body. All spiders have eight legs. Spider bodies are made up of two main parts – the cephalothorax and the abdomen. Spiders create silk from spinneret glands in their abdomen.
Spider silk is extremely strong and has a number of different uses. Spiders cannot chew or swallow, so they must digest their food outside their bodies and then drink the liquid. Spiders will inject venom through their fangs and paralyze their victims. The poison turns the insides of the insect into a liquid and the spider sucks it up. The insect will often look normal except that the body is empty.
